Handsome Dictator Matchbook Miniatures
These six matchbook portraits were quite enjoyable to work on.
I tried to give them each a more pleasant expression than I had previously seen in their portraiture.
More 'optimistic'.

This is a macro sequence of a match burning. It was shot @ 4000 FPS. As you can see this is an extremely tight shot. There was over 2000 wats of light within 4 inches (10 CM) of the match with mirrors and reflectors too. Please visit my site too WWW.UltraSlo.com.
The L.A. Art show comes to a close...
The L.A. Art Show just wrapped up at the Los Angeles convention center....to much applause.
This time around, the Red Truck boys did something extra special. Noah Antieau curated a section of the show called "Littletopia". It consisted of 11 kick-ass galleries, from around the country, hand-selected for the craftsmanship and ingenuity of their artists.
Huffington Post gave a shout out to Red Truck.
Hi Fructose magazine did as well, but somehow failed to provide photos....

Today is the first day of another year
A new year brings with it the promise of a new beginning. There is always hope, with the passing of time, that we can have a fresh start. To this end, I am offering my moustache - a tiny piece of my identity.
Embrace this opportunity. Everyone needs to start somewhere-Just as the oyster cultivates the pearl, around a tiny piece of sediment in it's mouth, I give you my moustache, around which, you may someday grow a man.
