The L.A. Art show comes to a close...
The L.A. Art Show just wrapped up at the Los Angeles convention center....to much applause.
This time around, the Red Truck boys did something extra special. Noah Antieau curated a section of the show called "Littletopia". It consisted of 11 kick-ass galleries, from around the country, hand-selected for the craftsmanship and ingenuity of their artists.
Huffington Post gave a shout out to Red Truck.
Hi Fructose magazine did as well, but somehow failed to provide photos....
So Here are some photos (for you visually oriented people out there) and some links to go with them ....This is how you sell copies , Hi-Fructose;
Here's a good behind the scenes shot...lotsa hanging to do...Go Red Truck!!!
These are the new custom shelves I fabricated for my matchbook displays. These are made from 19th century ledgers.
This is Noah's business card....Well, actually, this is the card for his pizza place, but you get the picture. (The guy with the bunny ears is Noah's 'partner' , Nik.
This is a precious shot of artist Bryan Cunningham with his special friend and collector , Richard Simmons.
A killer piece by John Whipple.
( I actually couldn't post most of the pics I had in mind when embarking on this blog post - too much nudity. )
